Questions & Answers

If something is not answered here, write to us and we will add it.

Is there any added sugar?

No. The ingredient list on the pouch reads “organic mangoes” and nothing else, and the front carries three claims: no additives, no added sugar, no preservatives. There is no food coloring either — the color you see is the fruit's own. The sweetness is the fruit's own, concentrated because the water is gone.

Where do the mangoes come from?

From our own orchard. Aatithya Farm is in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, and the Kesar mangoes are hand-harvested there each season. The pouch carries a “100% Made in India” mark.

What does freeze-dried actually mean?

The sliced fruit is frozen solid, then held under vacuum so the ice turns straight to vapor without melting. No heat is involved at any stage. Nearly all the water leaves and everything else stays — which is why the slices are light, crisp and intensely mango.

Is it really just mango?

Yes. One ingredient on the back, three “no” claims on the front. If that ever changes it will say so on the pouch and on this page.

How long does it keep?

12 months from the packing date, unopened and stored cool and dry. Both dates are printed on the back of the pouch. Once opened, transfer the contents into an airtight container — the slices draw moisture out of the air and go soft if left open. Still safe, just no longer crisp.

How should I store it?

Cool, dry, out of direct sunlight. Once you open it, move the contents into an airtight container and never dip a wet spoon in. No need to refrigerate. Each pouch also has an oxygen absorber sachet inside — take it out and throw it away, it is not food.

Can I make mango pulp with it?

Yes, and it is on the pouch: reconstitute the dried mango with 500 ml of water. It also blends into milkshakes and goes onto cereal or yogurt.

Is it allergen-safe?

The product has one ingredient: organic mangoes. No major allergen is used as an ingredient, and none is added at any stage.

It is produced and packed in a facility that also handles other foods, so we cannot guarantee it is entirely free from traces.

What happens when you sell out?

We wait for the trees. One harvest a year means that when a batch is gone, the next is a season away. Leave your email and we will write when the new batch is packed — not before.

Can I buy wholesale or in bulk?

Write to us and tell us what you need. Volume depends entirely on how the season went.
